Nano Challa is a small coop mill near the town of Gera in the Agaro region of Western Ethiopia. The coffee is of old heirloom varietals and is grown at an altitude of 1900-2100 masl. This is a fully washed coffee and is sun-dried on raised beds as is typical in Ethiopia. We sourced this coffee from Coffee Shrub in Oakland, who do a tremendous job working with farmers at the grass roots level in search of sustainable ways for farmers to cooperate and produce excellent coffees in order to provide for their families.
Cupping Notes: Refined, lingering body with notes of milk chocolate and smooth sweet honey, hints of cherry. Hints of woodiness, caramel and orange. Great for French Press, Pourover or Espresso – Delicious.
Give it a try before we run out!
